Completely Booked Book Club | Virtual
Completely Booked Book Club is a monthly, virtual book club that meets on the last Tuesday of the month from 7PM-8PM via Zoom. While the book club is open to members from across the country, with a few international members, most who join are from the Hudson County area. One book is read each month, and the author is on live for the conversation at every meeting.
Hoboken Public Library Mystery Book Club | 500 Park Avenue, Hoboken
Since 2018, the Hoboken Public Library Mystery Book Club has been meeting monthly. Join the group on the second Tuesday of the month at 4:30PM. The next month’s book will be revealed at the end of the current conversation.

An easy-to-join book club that is open to all is exactly the vibe that can be felt with Jersey City Book Club Babes. Each month, a different book and theme are picked for members to participate in. There is a small fee involved with the book club, so be sure to purchase before attending a meeting.
Jersey City Cook Book Club | Multiple Locations, Jersey City
A new addition to book clubs in Jersey City is the Cookbook Club. Members gather monthly and are open to all ages. Volunteers can host the next meeting and will get to choose which book the food and conversation will be based on. Little City Books hosts the Little City Queers Book Club monthly from 6:30PM to 8PM. At each event, participants read the chosen book of the month (often written by LGBTQ+ authors or surrounding LGBTQ+ characters) and discuss their thoughts as a group. “Not a book club. A reading party” is the tagline attached to Reading Rhythms. This organization, which was born in NYC, has now made its way across the Hudson and is gathering book lovers of all kinds. Join in on one event or for all.
Symposia Book Club | 510 Washington Street, Hoboken
Symposia Bookstore hosts regular book club meetings, including the Bookworm Baddies Club, Hoboken Silent Book Club (which also has meetups at other local businesses like Hoboken Public Library, Icy Melon, Paris Baguette, Hey Coffee People, Boomerang Bites, Cafe Vista, Sweven, City Bistro, and Dungeon Books), and more. This is a way to spend a Friday night with other game lovers in Hoboken. Every Friday, board game lovers in Hoboken meet up for friendly competition. Organizers ask that all joiners be open to teaching beginners the ropes and have a good time.

Hoboken’s ski club is comprised of mostly members in their 20s/30s who “think snow” all the time. A robust schedule is put together each year for ski lovers to travel together and hit the slopes. Even in the warmer months, the ski club meets regularly to garner community.

Sober Curious Community | Virtual, Hoboken
A new group to Hoboken, the Sober Curious Community is a group navigating the sometimes difficult social scene that revolves around drinking and smoking. The group meets via Zoom every Wednesday to bounce ideas off each other on navigating, being sober curious, and reflecting on experiences together.
