There are countless ways to bid goodbye to 2025 and hello to 2026, no matter what type of event you are looking for. Events range from formal dinners to a casual comedy night, with enough options to suit any friend group at local restaurants and bars. Hoboken’s only downtown live-music venue is, of course, hosting bands to liven up the night, featuring live performances from both Olive Oil Music and The Original Copy . The Laugh Tour Comedy Club New Year’s Eve Comedy Show at Dorrian’s Red Hand

The Laugh Tour Comedy Club is ringing in the new year with two New Year’s Eve Comedy Shows on Tuesday, December 31 at 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM. The night is hosted by Rich Kiamco (Howard Stern, ABC) with headliner Lucas Connolly (Comedy Central), plus additional guests from Comedy Central, Adult Swim and the New York Comedy Festival. Each ticket includes a champagne or sparkling cider toast, plus festive noisemakers and party hats. Guests at the late show can watch the ball drop at midnight on the big screen as the show wraps. Tickets are $50 per person, plus a two-item minimum per person (food or drinks) in the showroom. A 20% gratuity is automatically added to each food and drink check.
Hoboken
Court Street Restaurant & Bar | 61 6th Street
Court Street Restaurant & Bar will be offering its normal dinner menu on New Year’s Eve in addition to celebratory specials such as Lobster Thermidor and Surf & Turf. Reservations can be made here.
Halifax 2026 New Year’s Eve Dinner | 225 River Street
Inside the W Hoboken, Halifax will host a four-course dinner in addition to an all-night open bar, live music, and after-party access at Living Room. Tickets to the dinner party at Halifax are $250 per guest plus tax; tickets to the event at Living Room only are $150 per ticket plus tax. More information about both events can be found here.
NYE 2026 at The Lola Hoboken | 102 Sinatra Drive

W Hoboken Posh New Year’s Eve | 225 River Street
W Hoboken will host a Posh New Year’s Eve party from 8:30PM to 1:30AM. The party will feature four DJs, a 4.5 hour open bar, mingling, and light bites. Battello Presents: Yeah Baby, it’s 2026! | 502 Washington Boulevard
Battello will host an Austin Powers-inspired New Year’s Eve Dinner Party that will feature live music from the Almost Easy Band. The event will include an open bar, aerial acrobatics, and more. Tickets start at $279.32, more ticketing information can be found here.
