It’s a new season, which means the beginning of a new chapter for several local businesses. Some local favorites are expanding, while a few newcomers have made plans to open in the Mile Square. The latest batch of new Hoboken businesses includes a card store, a skincare brand, a floral design shop, and a fitness studio. Read on for 4 new businesses opening in Hoboken.

Jersey City’s Bodega Cards will add a second location in early 2026. The new location will be at XYZ in Hoboken. The team tells us that the new, larger space will be used to add more community events to the shop’s offerings. Bodega Cards sells trading cards and merchandise for a variety of professional sports leagues and entertainment.

Local sisters Sofiia and Irini combined their shared passion for design into Fashion and Flowers, a Hoboken floral design company. Sofiia is a longtime certified professional florist, and Irini has a background in fashion design. The duo launched their business this summer and offers florals for regular deliveries, special events, and floral installations.

FirmAF | 601 Observer Highway

FirmAF is a community-driven workout space set to open in November 2025. The team shares that it is a low-impact boutique fitness studio offering approachable, challenging and fun workouts. “Our classes blend Pilates-inspired sculpt, strength training, athletic power and balance to create a well-rounded workout that builds both strength and stability,” they shared.

NYC-based luxury skin retailer Kiehl’s will open its second New Jersey location in downtown Hoboken. The company was founded in 1851 and was one of the first personal care brands to put product ingredients on labels. The 133 Washington Street location was, until September 2025, a T-Mobile store.
