Thanksgiving weekend has arrived here in Hoboken and Jersey City and it’s time for delicious food, good company, and some holiday shopping. The long list of things to do on this weekend’s roster includes exciting events like affordable art shows, ice skating, and much more. Main Street Pops Holiday Market

Main Street Pops Holiday Market is this Sunday, December 14th, from 11:00AM to 4:00 PM. Shop local and browse more than 70 artisans featuring unique finds, from handcrafted jewelry and home decor to artisanal foods and sweet treats. The plaza at 770 Jackson Street transforms into a magical Holiday Vendor Village, filled with seasonal festivities such as the Inflatables Village, sponsored by Advanced Realty; Roving Holiday Entertainers, sponsored by Rockefeller Group; a Singing Mrs. Claus, hosted by Bond Vet and a Bouncy House, provided by Benny Love. Each Sunday brings new holiday fun and surprises, and admission is free and open to the public. The last holiday market will be the following Sunday, December 21st so don’t miss out!

Think two weekends of local holiday shopping – featuring gifts and events that sleigh. There’s plenty of photo ops and even a holiday-themed photobooth, and after, don’t forget to sip festive drinks and have brunch on the rooftop. Dick’s House of Sport Winter Workshop

Celebrate the holiday season at Dick’s House of Sport Jersey City and take advantage of free use of the rock wall, batting cages, golf simulators, and more when you show up in an ugly sweater. There are kid-friendly activities, including tables set up for writing letters to Santa, holiday crafts, a custom tote bag station with a heat press, and a giftable ideas table. LoveLocked, a local Jersey City jeweler, is also available for permanent bracelets, plus there are festive activities like Merry, a hot cocoa cart featuring holiday cookies, and the DJ will, of course, be playing holiday music. Check in is at the garage entrance and guests will receive a wristband for entry.
Festive Italian Dinners and Private Parties at Il Tavolo di Palmisano
