After two years of business, the couple made the following announcement via Instagram

 “Dear friends and supporters,
I have some bittersweet news to share. After two wonderful years, Thrifted by J & D will be closing its doors for the last time on January 30th, 2026. This little shop has meant so much to us, and we’re truly grateful for the journey it has taken us on.
Thank you to everyone who shopped, shared, encouraged, and believed in this small business. Your support helped turn a simple idea into a community—a place where sustainability, creativity, and secondhand treasures could be celebrated. We have loved every moment of curating pieces, meeting so many amazing people, and watching this shop grow because of you.
Although this chapter is coming to an end, we are walking away with so much gratitude and so many beautiful memories. Thank you for being part of the story of Thrifted by J & D. Your kindness and support will stay with us long after the shop closes.
With all our love and appreciation,
J & D”
