The holiday, also known as Day of the Dead, takes place on November 1st and 2nd. Paramus Public Library will be hosting a Día de los Muertos celebration at its Main Branch location welcoming families with children ages four to grade four. Día de los Muertos Community Festival + Celebration | Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair
Friday, October 31st – Sunday, November 2nd
Latinos of Montclair will be hosting a three-day celebration for Día de los Muertos at the newly renovated Lackawanna Plaza. The festival will include a mercadito of over 70 artisans and food vendors, performances, family-friendly experiences, and New Jersey’s largest community altar. Hoboken Day of the Dead Bar Crawl | 221 Washington Street, Hoboken

Pub Crawls will be hosting a Día de Muertos bar crawl at several bars throughout Hoboken on Saturday, starting at Madd Hatter. The bar crawl will include stops at Tally Ho, The Hoboken Biergarten, and more. Tickets to the event can be purchased here.

The Riverview Farmers Market will host its 11th annual Day of the Dead celebration from 10/30 – 11/2. The event will take place at Riveriew-Fisk Park, and will include a giant skeleton puppet parade, mariachi, local vendors, and a community ofrenda. To celebrate Día de los Muertos and honor loved ones who have passed.
