At 366 Palisade Avenue in Jersey City, a once-vacant storefront has some plans on the horizon. A sign advertising a new Brazilian steakhouse has popped up, adding another restaurant to The Heights’ thriving culinary community. A New Addition to a Restaurant Overlay Zone
The Heights has experienced significant growth in its dining scene in the past few years. This area around Palisade Avenue is no exception, with several small eateries occupying the space. Among them are the local favorite cocktail bar The Alps, the newly-opened Japanese restaurant Sushi Makoto, and Mexican restaurant La Milpa Taqueria.

The spot where the sign was found has been vacant for at least fifteen years. The arrival of a Brazilian steakhouse would bring a fun dynamic to the neighborhood, which has yet to open one.
