We’ve already established that Hoboken is the beauty capital of New Jersey, so it’s only natural that several new beauty businesses are opening their doors in the Mile Square. One of the newest neighbors on the beauty block is longtime North Jersey hairstylist Jillian Apostolico, whose newest venture is The Stylist Salon. The space is located at 105 5th Street in Hoboken. About The Stylist Salon
After five years owning a salon in Englewood, Jillian Apostolico has decided to close the Englewood location and open The Stylist Salon in Hoboken. The salon specializes in blonding and hand-tied extensions.

Jillian shared with The Hoboken Girl that her vision for the salon is to create a cozy and intimate space where any and all feel welcome. To ensure a comfortable experience, the salon works with just one client at a time, providing unlimited coffee to sip on and fresh croissants to enjoy during the appointment.

Prior to becoming The Stylist Salon, 105 5th Street was home to another salon, Sophistikate. Sophistikate was in space for seven years with an additional location in Madison, New Jersey. Sophistikate closed its Hoboken location at the end of 2024. Now, The Stylist Salon is officially open in the space.
