Following the success of her first location in Guttenberg, Alicia Rosato, founder of Archives 007, is stepping into Hoboken’s vintage scene. Located at 1 Newark Street in Hoboken, Archives Vintage Boutique will provide a curated assortment of vintage, designer, and contemporary clothing in a chic, retro-inspired space. The shop will share a space with the popular coffee spot Bean Vault Coffee, located in the Hoboken Land Building. The shop is scheduled for a soft opening on August 7th followed by a grand opening on September 20th of this year. Read on for everything we know about Archives Vintage Boutique, Hoboken’s newest retro fashion and accessories shop.
The Details
Alicia opened Archives 007 in 2017, curating pieces that inspire and spark creativity while aiming to bring stylists and photographers’ ideas to life. Though she spent years studying fashion at FIT, her inspiration stems from unique personalities that she meets, traveling, cinema, and fashion shows.

Alicia has worked with many independent artists, styling photoshoots and crafting atmospheres inspired by the character and story of each clothing piece. She has also produced and styled fashion shows in New York City. Alicia has been archiving unique, one-of-a-kind pieces for over 10 years, and now her eye for fashion will bring a fresh energy to the Hoboken style scene.
Aside from running her stores, Alicia also currently styles and curates pieces for photographer Antoine Verglas. Her work has contributed to shoots featured in publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Playboy, Maxim, and QP Magazine, where she was able to bring her creative visions to life.
Alicia comes from a lineage of shoemakers, seamstresses, and pattern makers, though she feels that she is fulfilling the dreams that her ancestors were not able to. She feels that fashion has always been in her future, as her family comes from a country shaped like a boot.
For Archives Vintage Boutique, Alicia aims to create a capsule of pieces from the 1950s and up, featuring mainly coats, dresses, and sequinned pieces from the 70s-90s eras. Interior design holds just as much importance as fashion design does to Alicia. Similar to Archives 007, the shop will have a moody interior, reminiscent of an old speakeasy. The rich textures and sultry vibes of the shop will preserve the comforting atmosphere of Archives 007, giving Hoboken locals the opportunity to browse through carefully curated racks of rare vintage pieces.
In addition to thoughtfully gathered vintage finds, Archives Vintage Boutique will provide clothing rentals, styling packages, and event space rentals, all designed to support creative projects, special gatherings, and photoshoots. Alicia’s goal is to provide an inspiring space where others can bring their visions to life.
Archives Vintage Boutique is the latest addition to Hoboken’s thriving vintage scene.
