Holiday Pop-Up Markets + Events in New Jersey for the 2025 Season

Now that spooky season has come and gone, the door is officially open to winter holiday festivities. To celebrate this holiday season all around the Garden State, The Hoboken Girl has handpicked a list of holiday markets and other events. Read on for more details about holiday pop-ups and events happening in New Jersey for 2025.

Bergen County

Bergen County’s Winter Wonderland at Van Saun Park | 216 East Forest Avenue, Paramus

November 28th

Bergen County’s Winter Wonderland is an annual holiday event, including ice-skating, ‘Blitzen’s bumper cars’ and more. The event is ticketed, tickets are not for sale online yet but are “coming soon”. Find more information at the event website

Main Street Pops: Tenafly Holiday Fair | 1 Piermont Road, Tenafly

Sunday, December 14th | 12PM-5PM

On Sunday, December 14th, the Borough of Tenafly and Tenafly Chamber of Commerce will host the Tenafly Holiday Fair with a Main Street Pops Holiday Market. The fair will include “family fun, music, shopping, and seasonal treats,” per the event website. The event will be held at Huyler Park from 12PM – 5PM. The market is advertised as an opportunity for attendees to find “unique gifts from a variety of local artisans and small businesses.” Types of vendors will include fashion, bath and body, home goods, pet products, kids’, fine art and photography, and artisanal foods.

Cape May County

Harry’s Jingle Bar | 1025 Beach Avenue, Cape May

November 14th- December 31st

The Station Hoboken

Harry’s Jingle Bar is an annual pop-up at Harry’s Ocean Bar + Grille in Cape May. The space is fully decked out for the holiday season including twinkling lights and a full seasonal cocktail menu. The pop-up includes breakfast with Santa, an ugly sweater contest, and a grinch party.The pop-up is also family-friendly. More information can be found here

Essex County

Dickens Village | Ricalton Square, Maplewood

Date: TBD

Dickens Village is an annual holiday event which returns every year for three Saturdays throughout December. The event features miniature houses around Ricalton Square, bringing to life the scenes from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.  In past yers, the event has included a tree-lighting ceremony, horse and wagon rides, a petting zoo, visits with Santa, live holiday music, and a menorah-lighting. Essex County Holiday House Tour | 101 Orange Road, Montclair

December 6th + December 7th

The Holiday House Tour is an annual event at the Montclair History Center, where guests can take self guided tours around the 229-year-old home. The tours will also include festive period décor designed by the Garden Club of Montclair. The event is free for children under 12, and is $5 for adults. Find more information here.

Glen Ridge Holiday Market | 200 Ridgewood Avenue, Glen Ridge

Glen Ridge High School will once again be hosting its annual holiday market, this year it will be on November 16th. The event is held in the school’s gymnasium and will include items from local vendors. The vendor application can be found here.

Miracle on Bloomfield | 706 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona

November 7th – January 4th

Miracle on Bloomfield is an annual pop-up held at the Parkside Social. The event includes a Christmas cocktail experience, festive winter decor, and “cozy chaos.”  Reservations can be made here.

Miracle on Centre | 229 Centre Street, Nutley

November 7th – January 4th

The Miracle on Centre holiday pop-up will be at Cowan’s Public in Nutley through early January, including festive decorations, a seasonal cocktail menu, and more. Find more information about reservations here

Montclair Flea’s Holiday Market | 1 Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair

November 29th – December 28th | Saturdays + Sundays 11AM-6PM

Montclair Flea will bring back its Holiday Market for 2025, with curated vendors selling holiday items. The market will include décor, handmade gifts, vintage items, and accessories. Find more information about the market here

Verona’s Fair in the Square | 600 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona

Saturday, December 6th | 12PM-5PM

The Verona Civic Center will be hosting its 28th annual Fair in the Square. The event includes a tree-lighting with Santa, along with the town Mayor and Council. There will be food and beverage vendors, along with merchants. The fair will also have photos with Santa. Vendor information is set to be released soon.

Hudson County

Bergen Hall Holiday Market | 58 Maple Street, Jersey City

Date: TBD

Bergen Hall has put out a call to local vendors for a holiday market to take place in December. The organizers are inviting small businesses, local artists, and makers. 

HDSID Happy Holiday Market | Grove Street Path Plaza + 145 Newark Avenue 

December 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st

Jersey City’s Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID) will host two holiday markets over two weekends in December. There will be an indoor holiday market at the rooftop at The Ashford and an outdoor market at the Grove Street Path Plaza. Both markets will have handmade gifts and fine art, while the rooftop market at The Ashford will also host a brunch. More information about the markets can be found here

Heights Holiday Market | 498 Palisade Avenue, Jersey City

December 6th | 10AM-4PM

The Riverview Farmers Market will be hosting its annual holiday market at Riverview-Fisk Park. The market will feature handmade crafts, food, and live music. The event is currently still accepting vendor applications, which can be found here

Main Street Pops: Hoboken Holiday Market Series | 770 Jackson Street Plaza, Hoboken

December 7th, 14th, and 21st | 11AM-4PM

There will be a series of Sunday Main Street Pops Holiday Markets throughout the month of December, on December 7th, 14th, and 21st. The markets will be located behind Monroe Center, with more than 100 artisan vendors selling fashion, pet, kids’, food, home, and bath and body products. The event will also feature live holiday music, Roving Characters, and a sleigh bell lounge. More information can be found here.

Miracle on Mercer at Franklin Social | 292 Barrow Street, Jersey City

The Miracle on Mercer is an annual event that takes place at Franklin Social in Jersey City. The restaurant + tavern rings in the holiday season with the pop-up featuring festive decorations and a holiday drinks menu. Reservations can be made here.

Pier One Tree | 1301 Sinatra Drive

November 28th – December 22nd, 2025

Pier One Tree will be a holiday pop-up at Pier 13 in Hoboken which will sell Christmas trees, wreaths, and other holiday accessories. The space will also host Santa visits and other community events. 

Monmouth County

Bell Works Fresh Holiday Markets | 101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel

11/29, 11/30, 12/03, 12/07, 12/10, 12/13, 12/14, 12/17, and 12/10

The Bell Works Fresh Holiday Markets will be returning in 2025, on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Wednesday Markets will be open from 11AM-4PM, weekend markets are from 12PM-4PM. More information can be found here.

Jafajems Pop-Up | 1111 Third Avenue, Spring Lake 

November 1st

Jafajems of Montclair, a gift and home goods store curating a “global shopping experience,” will be hosting another pop-up shop in Monmouth County for the holiday season based on the success of last year’s.

Miracle Bar | 101 Schank Road, Freehold

November 20th – January 1st

The Bistro at iPlay America hosts multiple pop-ups, including its “Broomsticks + Booze” Halloween pop-up theme which concludes just before “Miracle Bar” takes over. The event venue is known for its seasonal pop-ups with appropriately festive cocktails. More information can be found here.

 

Ocean County

Sinner’s Christmas Experience | 20 Inlet Drive, Point Pleasant Beach

November 6th – January 4th

Sinner’s Steakhouse is hosting a “jolly ol’ sinful experience” for the holiday season that advertises craft seasonal cocktails and family-friendly fun. The holiday menu will include “Santa’s favorite” desserts and more. More information about the pop-up and reservations can be found here

Sussex County

German Christmas Market of New Jersey | 37 Plains Road, Augusta

December 5th – December 7th

The 2025 German Christmas Market of New Jersey will be held at Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta. The festival will take place from 10AM-8PM on Friday and Saturday, and 10AM to 5PM on Sunday. The festival will highlight musical performances by local choirs, gifts including traditional German wooden decor, and family activities including a petting zoo and carousel rides. The market is run by local volunteers who donate the majority of event proceeds to Sussex charities. Veterans and children 12 and under can attend the event for free, tickets for adults are $8 until December 4th and $10 during the weekend of the event; tickets for seniors are $5 until December 4th and then $7 the weekend of the event. Union County

Main Street Pops: Winter Wonderland + Holiday Village | 1976 Morris Avenue, Union Township

Friday, December 5th + Saturday December 6th | Friday 5PM-9:30PM,  Saturday 2PM-9PM

The 2025 Annual Winter Wonderland and Holiday Village, hosted by Main Street Pops, is returning the first weekend of December. The event will have live music, an ice skating rink, curling, a trackless train, Santa’s workshop, a cookie station, fire pit areas, a 360 Photo Booth, food trucks, hot cocoa, and beer garden areas. There will also be more than 50 holiday and craft vendors. More information can be found here.
