There are so many fun things to try around Hoboken and Jersey City, and that’s why The Hoboken Girl loves sharing our favorite food and drink picks each month. For June, our team compiled a list of six foodie items that are worth checking out, from Caesar salad pizza to fruity ice cream to meatball sliders. Read on for HG’s list of foodie items we’re loving this June.
Little Caesar Pie from The Pizza Shop by Flour | 500 Jefferson Street, Hoboken
The Pizza Shop by Flour, located at 500 Jefferson Street in Hoboken, is known for its unique selection of pizzas. The Little Caesar is one of its most popular pies, topped with red little gem lettuce, aged parmesan, Calabrian chili breadcrumbs, and colatura dressing. It’s the same Caesar salad served in its sister restaurant, Flour. Another popular pie on the menu is the Delfino, named after the former long-standing restaurant at 500 Jefferson Street. It’s topped with fennel sausage, chili oil, and onion.

Jazzed Up Larry David Sandwich from Hank Schwartz Delicatessen | Jersey City
Hank Schwartz is a traditional Jewish deli operating out of a ghost kitchen in Jersey City Heights, and it recently launched its newest bagel creation — the Jazzed Up Larry David Sandwich. Inspired by Season 5, Episode 1 of Curb Your Enthusiasm titled “The Larry David Sandwich,” it comes complete with whitefish salad, pickled red onions, and caper cream cheese on an egg bagel. Hank Schwartz is also known for its lox, pastrami sandwiches, rye bread, and more.

Two Hoboken businesses are teaming up for a cool, sweet treat. Moo Jersey, a Hoboken-based, small-batch ice cream company and Double Dough, a Hoboken-based cookie business have made a creamy, fruity ice cream flavor just in time for summer. The ice cream is a vanilla base with a raspberry jam swirled in and loads of Double Dough confetti sugar cookies crumbled in. The collab recently launched with free scoops at Mojo Coffee Company and will be available for pre-order and pick up soon.
Clubhouse Sandwich from Cheech’s Bagels | Jersey City
Cheech’s Bagels opened in spring of 2025 at 170 Erie Street in Jersey City. Aside from the groovy floors and classic rock icons decorating the walls, the bagels are delicious. All of the bagels are made in-house and the shop boasts their use of real, fresh ingredients. There are a handful of lunch sandwiches on the menu, including the Clubhouse sandwich with turkey, bacon, arugula, tomato, and pesto mayo, served on a bagel of choice. A classic Taylor Ham egg and cheese also becomes an elevated breakfast sandwich on one of Cheech’s everything bagels.
Iced Latte from Tres Amores Cafe | Hoboken Waterfront
Over the weekend, the HG team spotted a new coffee cart on the Hoboken waterfront called Tres Amores Cafe. It’s a mobile coffee truck serving coffee and mocktail tastings, as well as creating customized drinks every day. We kept it simple with a classic caramel iced latte (with oat milk), but it was truly one of the best we’ve had. You can follow Tres Amores on Instagram to stay up-to-date on the truck’s whereabouts.
Strawberry Matcha from Santé Juice + Community | Hoboken Farmers’ Market

Santé Juice + Community is a local beverage company specializing in cold-pressed juices and matcha lattes. This business can be found at the Hoboken Farmers’ Market at 58 Jackson Street every Thursday from 3PM-7PM. Everyone loves a good matcha latte, especially the HG team. The Strawberry Matcha is made with housemade strawberry syrup, matcha powder, and oak milk, and we highly recommend it.

Meatball Sliders from Napoli’s | Hoboken
View this post on Instagram
This appetizer from Napoli’s in Hoboken is what Italian dining dreams are made of. Picture this: a marinara-drenched meatball sandwiched by ooey, gooey, garlic knots. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a big, good ol’ fashion Jersey pizza pie. The dish is definitely messy and you will get lost in the sauce, but it feels like something every Hoboken resident should try at least once. Napoli’s has two locations in Hoboken and is open until 12AM on the weekends.
Stilo Bakes Banana Bread | Sold at ModCup (all locations)
Katie Stilo, a local resident and an Emmy-winning Culinary Producer and Food Stylist, is finally giving Hoboken + Jersey City residents a taste of her talents with a new launch at ModCup. Her Chocolate Chip Banana Bread landed in stores earlier this spring, with White Chocolate Pistachio Cherry Cookies following shortly thereafter. The bread is exactly what you want in a banana bread: sweet, comforting, and consumable in one sitting.
Pork Chops | Augustino’s, Hoboken
Danielle from our team finally secured a reservation at Augustino’s in Hoboken and sort of won’t stop talking about it. As a first-timer, she got all the classics (mussels, chicken parm, etc.) — but the pork chop stood out among the many fan-favorites. Braised and drenched in vinegar and hot peppers, even people who think they don’t like pork chops will like these pork chops.
