From speakeasy-style bars to retail shops, locals have a lot of fun spots to look forward to in 2025. One of those businesses is the expansion of local favorite, MOJO Coffee Company — which will expand its Hudson County footprint by opening a new Jersey City location. MOJO currently has two Hoboken locations on Bloomfield Street and Willow Avenue. We first reported on the expansion in December 2024, and now, we know that MOJO will make its Jersey City debut this Saturday, April 12th, 2025. Read on for what we know about MOJO Coffee’s expansion to Jersey City, New Jersey.
The Jersey City Location
The MOJO team shared with The Hoboken Girl in December 2024 that its newest outpost would be located in downtown Jersey City close to the Grove Street PATH station. The MOJO website also listed a new Jersey City location as “coming soon” at the time. While an official location had yet to be revealed at that time, we now know that MOJO’s Chilltown outpost will be situated at 159-161 Newark Avenue, and will open up on Saturday, April 12th.
“It’s happening…we’ll see you Saturday, Jersey City Our doors are opening at 7am on Saturday and while the forecast looks gloomy, we’ll be serving all the sunshine vibes inside.

“We’ve been looking for a place in Jersey City for about two years, and finally found a centrally located space that fits the Mojo brand,” owner Jess Nisler previously shared with HG. “We’re excited to add to the JC community – we’ll be offering our beloved coffee, pastry & specialty drink menu, with an expanded food option that will be made in-house.”
About MOJO Coffee Company
MOJO Coffee Company opened its first Mile Square location at 230 Willow Avenue in 2020, and has since expanded to open another storefront at 801 Bloomfield Street. The Jersey City location will mark its third Hudson County location.
Since its inception, MOJO has quickly become a staple for Hoboken locals and coffee lovers. The shop serves all of the classics — cold brew, drip coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, Americanos, tea, hot cocoa with marshmallows, and more — along with seasonal selections. Currently, MOJO is serving up Irish cream cold brews, campfire cold brews, hazelnut cold brews, and s’mores lattes, among other drinks.
